Lacroix began as a cross-genre exploration of electronic music. Based around a multifaceted pop/rock structure filled with psychedelic textures, their tracks gives the listener an immersive soundscape difficult to describe until they hear and see it own their own.
The latest 2018 album “Scenic Routes” expresses an experimentation of genres that the singer and producer, Daniel Gonzalez, has grown to develop throughout his years at Berklee College of Music and transition into LA. Backed with a metal, electronic, and dance appreciation (with artist influences varying from Daft Punk, Infected Mushroom, Gesaffelstein, and Pink Floyd) Daniel Gonzalez has curated his own unique sound and effects. With each new track, the boundaries of sound and understandings of reality are pushed to infinity. During live performances, custom visuals are added to the experience.
